Upstairs Downstairs
So Upstairs Downstairs is back, same house, some years later. Master of the house appears totally uninspiring, despite being a friend of the future king. Mistress of the house, Keeley Hawes, lovely as ever. Butler character shows promise. Art Malik as the Indian secretary might also prove interesting.
The supposedly 15 year old maid has already appeared in a scene in which she takes a bath, though if they hadn't told us she was 15 nobody would ever have guessed (the actress is 20). They couldn't find a talented actress of the right age? If she is supposed to be the eye-candy it's a casting failure, she's not a patch on Lesley Anne-Down. First impressions? — It'll be Keeley's show.
